Poetry
Poetry to me, embodies the elegance of a romantic era where men where gentlemen and women were loved. It offers escape, education and hope; and provides shoulder to cry on - the knowledge that I am not alone. Becoming a poet allowed entrance into this elite family of rich language.
My first love belongs to the ancient poets - the Classics. If it has a strong moral message that transcends time the better! As a sad soul it is fulfilling, sharing and empathising with other poets who have sad souls.
In my book “No-one believes I can fly” it has a collection of my early poems which reflects experiences in my life.
